What is LOEFT?

LOEFT (loefthouse) is a Canadian design-led home brand making premium 1000-piece photographic puzzles housed inside collectible coffee table book boxes. Each edition is designed to be displayed before it is opened, enjoyed while it is built, and kept on the shelf afterwards.

What makes a LOEFT puzzle different?

The packaging is the product. Instead of a flat carton, the puzzle lives inside a rigid linen-textured book box with a hidden magnetic closure, so it belongs on a coffee table or console rather than in a closet. Inside are a 1000-piece matte-finish puzzle, a cotton storage bag and a collectible reference art print.

Is LOEFT a puzzle brand or a home décor brand?

Home décor first. LOEFT is designed as a collectible coffee table object that happens to contain a genuine 1000-piece adult puzzle. The book box is the décor piece that lives in the room; the puzzle is the slow, screen-free ritual inside it.

What does LOEFT mean?

LOEFT comes from the Danish word løft, meaning to lift, elevate and brighten. It describes the intent behind every collection: a lift for the everyday, through bold colour and objects made to be lived with.

How many pieces does the puzzle have?

1000 pieces. Every LOEFT edition across every collection is a 1000-piece puzzle, cut from premium blue board with a matte finish that reduces glare and holds colour.

What size is the box?

Approximately 13" high × 9.8" wide × 2.5" deep (33 × 25 × 6.4 cm), sized to sit alongside standard coffee table books.

Is the box actually a book?

It is a faux coffee table book: a rigid 1400 GSM board box finished in linen-textured cardstock, with a debossed title, a reinforced cloth hinge and a hidden magnetic closure. It opens like a clamshell rather than turning pages.

What happens after I finish the puzzle?

The puzzle goes back into its cotton bag, the bag goes back into the box, and the box returns to the shelf as a display object. The collectible art print can be framed or kept with the edition.

Are the images original?

Yes. Each puzzle uses original editorial photography chosen for how it feels to build and how it looks framed. Product imagery shown on this site is currently a digital mockup while final photography is produced.

Collections are released in limited runs and rotate. Once an edition sells through, it is not reprinted in the same form, which is why the collection page shows what is currently open.

You are buying two things: a 1000-piece matte-finish puzzle and a rigid linen-textured book box built to stay on display, plus a cotton bag and a collectible art print. The box, the finish and the original photography carry most of the difference.
